Series I: Administrative Files, 1973-2004, 2008, contains administrative materials that deal with the creation and the development of the WGS program. It contains department histories, correspondence, faculty information, and budgeting information.
Series II: Curriculum Files, 1975, 1978-1984, 1987-1993, 1996-2003, 2005-2006, contains course development materials for the department. This series contains correspondence, syllabi, assignment examples, and program guides.
Series III: Events,1972-1976, 1980-1982, 1984-2006, 2008, 2011, 2017, 2019 contains materials pertaining to events within and corresponding with the department. This includes information on conferences, visits, programs, and seminars.
Series IV: Publications, 1972, 1980-2014, contains publications dealing with the program of Women's and Gender Studies. This series includes newsletters, pamphlets, and newspaper clippings.
Series V: Ephemera, 1976, 1980-2002, 2017, contains programs, fliers, and information relating to the events sponsored by the program.
Series VI: Media, 1984-1987, 1989-2007, 2009-2010, contains various floppy discs and compact discs containing information relating to conference and student papers.
